Vaporizer products are easy and safe when used properly. First, choose the right formula for the temperature and conditions. Wear gloves or use a scoop to apply. We also recommend that you wear rubber-soled boots or shoes.

Remove loose snow and/or slush and spread product as evenly as possible on concrete surface. Vaporizer products require between 1/4 and 1/2 pound of product per square yard. See package label for details.

Remove remaining slush as ice melts. Store products in a clean, dry location, sealing the bag securely.

Vaporizer products are safe for use on cured concrete surfaces. They should not used on improperly cured concrete, porous concrete, or concrete that is less than one year old. Do not use on porous brick or mortar joints. Used correctly, they are safe for lawns and gardens, but we recommend that you avoid vegetation if possible.
