Our History  

GRO-WELL Brands, Inc. a 2006 merger of two environmentally conscious companies. Western Organics, a 48-year-old lawn and garden manufacturing company based in the Southwest and Benick Brands, the leading East Coast distributor of garden products.

The combination of the two companies created a dynamic company focused on the environment and sustainable products for the home and garden industry.

In 2006, GRO-WELL Brands acquired Sierra Organics, a California lawn and garden company with multiple manufacturing sites to enhance our companies capacity to deliver products on the West Coast.

GRO-WELL currently operates six manufacturing plants in five states and markets a complete line of natural and organic lawn and garden products throughout the Western United States.

In 2012, the company created Green Organics Recycling company “GOR”. This division focuses on the sourcing and recycling of various clean source separated organic materials. GOR diverts over 125,000 tons of various organic materials from landfills each year. Recycling this material provides feedstock for bio-fuel energy projects and material to package into various lawn and garden products that are sold to consumers.
